The Aso Valley Ecomuseum is a participatory cultural project designed to enhance the natural, historical and identity heritage of the valley, promoting sustainable and shared development of the area.
This is not a traditional museum, but a“diffuse museum,”recognized by the Marche Region, embracing landscapes, villages, traditions, knowledge and places of memory. A living institution, rooted in the territory, actively involving local communities in researching, preserving and promoting their heritage, both tangible and intangible.
The Ecomuseum aims to be an engine ofsocioeconomic development, creating networks between culture, tourism and local economic activities. It triggers synergies between past and present, environment and society, identity and innovation, helping to strengthen community awareness and pride.
Through cultural itineraries, events, educational activities and digital tools, the Ecomuseum tells the story of the deep connection between man and nature, fostering new models of sustainable economy and promoting a conscious and authentic enjoyment of the territory.
